Q: When can I apply?

A: International students may apply for the undergraduate program from April through July. The fall semester will start in September. The spring semester offers only the Chinese Language Training Program.

  

Q: Is any interview or written-test when I apply?

A: There is no interview or written-test. The University Admission Committee will select the qualified applicants based on the documents submitted.


Q: How long will it take to be admitted after application?

A: Normally the decision will be available in 2 to 3 weeks after the forms and materials are submitted to the university. The application result will be checked on -line. The Offer of Admission will be delivered to the admitted applicant.


Q: Is there any scholarship program I can apply for?

A: JNU provides Chinese Government Scholarship, Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship, and Jinan University Silk-Road Scholarship. Please go to www.csc.edu.cn/laihua to register for Chinese Government Scholarship. For Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship and Jinan University Silk-Road Scholarship, please contact the Admission Office of Jinan University directly.

  

  

Q: Can I transfer to your university?

Q: How can I get the X1 study visa?

A: The Admission Office will help admitted students apply for JW202, the Student Visa Application Form, which will take about 1 month to be issued. JW202 will be informed to collect or be mailed to the admitted students, along with the Offer of Admission. The admitted student may apply for a student visa with a passport, Offer of Admission and JW202. For any questions on student visas, please contact the Security Department at 86-85220051.
